No pictures from today due to my autocross schedule and a Father’s Day cookout. The sewer lines that will be under the “monolithic” slab were laid out and buried along with the main water line. From what I understand it only took a few hours.
The autocross was in Orangeburg at the Prince of Orange Mall. It is ALWAYS hot at any event in O’berg and today was no exception. It was easily 100°+ on the tarmac. I’ve finally come to the realization that I’m no longer competitive in my class. Having missed a year and a half of seat time, all of my friends have greatly surpassed me. Having said that, I was happy with my results. On average my first run is usually the fastest and then I gradually slow down. Except this time. My last run was a full second and a half faster than my first run. Woo Hoo! I guess I’ll have to start over and just better my own times until I get back in the groove.
