I think it is time to finally write this page.
Oh Hai!!
I’m David.
Currently you could describe me as a:
To my beautiful, wonderful, slightly crazy wife of 14 years. No, she’s not 14 years old… been married that long this Halloween. Yes, we got married on Halloween. What of it?
To my beautiful, wonderful, slightly crazy, miracle twins who go by the names Sam and Ella. Yes. We. Know. For those on the slow train, say the names fast. Ha ha ha.
Believe it or not, my ed-u-ma-ka-shun is in Motion Picture Production & Still Photography
Used to be an Independant Bookseller, but that shop went the way of the Dodo. Used to work in a local hardware store, but now I’m what my wife calls a “Househusband”. Whatever the hell that is. (Technically it means we get to travel more. š )
Not so much anymore since twins, but I really need to get back into the game. Seat time seat time seat time.
One of my favorite places in all the world is a little area of Western North Carolina called Deals Gap. It just happens to be guarded by a Dragon.
Ahh, my baby before the babies. I drive a 2002 MINI Cooper S. It is Pure Silver with a black roof and black bonnet stripes. Occasionally it will have some kind of tattooing on the roof or bonnet. She’s currently sporting two extra pairs of eyes. They are specifically for Dragon slaying in the middle of the night. I’ve recently acquired a 1975 Austin Mini 1000. She’s had an engine swap from the 1000 to a 1275. Now she needs brakes…
Yes. I have all the novels. Yes. I’ve read them all. Yes. I have a few character busts that frequently scare small children who come to the house. Original Trilogy FTW! Yes, I have a few lightsabers. No I don’t costly, but if you know where I can get a Mara Jade costume I’ll send you my wife’s measurements.
What. No Vampire?
Nope. Not anymore. I’ve had the screenname VmpyrDavid since before Al Gore invented the Internet. Before AOL was AOL and was America Online and was only dial-up and NEVER had a busy signal. Back when CompuServe was the only national game in town. Back when there were real BBS’s. Back when I co-sysop’d a BBS out of my parents basement with 3 dedicated lines and US Robotics modems. Remember “Legend of the Red Dragon” or “Trade Wars”? Anyway, the name stuck, and everyone who’s anyone knows me by that name. Now I usually get VampD or Bloodsucka from many friends met through the aether of the internet. There’s more to the name but this is all ya get. š
Ciao!
Dee
